and hey, does it mean you got Sanosuke from RK's Sanosuke? Off-topic, but.. Alot of people actually ask me if I got my name from the show. To tell you the truth, I didn't think of the one from RK. Sano means "to heal" in Latin, and it was also the name of a character that Oguri Shun played in Hana Kimi. The "suke" means "assistant."

Death Note is a thinking man's anime. Probably not suited for those who want a simple story.

You're not alone, I couldn't get into Death Note either, but probably because I hated the main character. Otherwise, Death Note had a lot of potential, but I didn't bother watching it... (I only watched some parts so I could understand the jokes people made XD) Anyways other shows I've been watching or at least trying to watch are- Spoilered Because the list looked big... - Spoiler:
Naruto Shippuden (To see my favorite chapters animated...) One Piece (Same reason as Naruto) Jigoku shoujo (Finished all episodes, and planning to watch next season) Lucky Star (Just to understand jokes people make XD) Shakugan no Shana (Trying to watch, but I haven't even finished half an episode) Full Metal Alchemist (Finished all episodes. and trying to finish the manga...) Soul Eater (Finished all the episodes they've made up till today...) Hunter x Hunter (Finished... I think...) Ghost In The shell (Watched some of it but not a sincere fan...) Yu-Gi-Oh (Everyone else was doing it so...) Cardcaptor Sakura (Everyone else was also doing it so...) Mai Hime & Otome (Finished all episodes up till today) Doraemon (When I was really little XD) Gunslinger Girl (Only the first season, continued on the manga...) Girl's High (Finished...) Witch Hunter Robin (Can't find subs anywhere...) And Finally: Gash bell, Digimon, and Pokemon in elementary school...
If you actually read the list you deserve a cherry Yes, I have no life!

| I like anime but since discovering manga I've become much more of a manga fan. Particularly with shonen titles like Naruto and Death Note that are paced so well on paper but when they get transfered over to video they become... so... long... and... drawn... out... and... booooring. - Prisoner of Hikki wrote:

That's what makes it so perfect! Light is such a magnificent smug asshole, you love it when he's winning but - Spoiler:

Absolutely agree! A manga can be finished in minutes while episodes often take forever to finish The only reason I'd watch an anime rendering would be for a high-action sequence or an amazing soundtrack cause they really make them too long and drawn out... - Rather Hazy wrote:

That's why I really enjoyed the last episode XD

| OMG the Naruto anime SUCKS. It's moving so slow compared to the Manga and now they've added unnecessary filler episodes. What the heck are they doing. | |

| There are a couple animes I just can't STAND, including: Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball Z, and Sailor Moon. I couldn't get into it. Death Note was my HOME! I loved Death Note from beginning to end. That was when I really got into real anime (no American watered down crap... I was into Teen Titans for a while and then trickled into Avatar ) I also love Melancholy of Haruhi!! That was such a fabulous one. I'm getting into Full Metal Panic now. And, despite the horrible name, Princess Tutu was a very very good anime (the dub was excellently done). | |

| me too I just wish they might expand that one, but I love the idea of paper being almost anything, which is cool. Kind of like an imagination mix thing. Also, the manga version seems kinda......i don't know i preferably don't like it D: | |
