| While I only listen to it ocasionally (J-Pop took over my immortal soul after hearing Utada Hikaru), does anyone like English-language tunes? Some of my favorites are Nelly Furtado, Bjork, Timbaland, M.I.A., Coldplay, Kate Nash, Lily Allen, some Madonna, and Nine Inch Nails, but I've got a large range of genres (except bad rap and country). What are yours? | |

| I listen to heaps of English language music, I own a bigger variety of it than I do Japanese, but I have so much and I gain and lose interest and then gain interest again it's hard to make a list unless I list everything and I'd be here all day. I know everyone says it but seriously, I do listen to almost everything, I have CDs from almost every genre. I do like most of what you listed though Donovon. | |

| I listen to loads of English Music, as long as it's not one of those songs that use a single hand-clap on EVERY verse just to get the beat going... Almost everytime you turn on the radio there's a song like that though... And it's those songs that are popular I'll listen to every genre as long as the song is good and unique... By the way, one of the artists I listen to is in my sig ;D | |

| I too listen to just about everything. Really, I do.
Years ago I listened to nothing but hard rock and metal. Years before then it was just rap and top 40.
Artists I like are:
Linkin Park (I was a fan of them since the very beginning, kind of embarrassed to say I am now since they are too mainstream)
Disturbed Jack Johnson Jason Mraz Michael Buble
pretty much a little of this and that from a bunch of artists/genres

I think don't think snares and percussions really bother me. What's your opinion though - DaAmainator wrote:

As long as it doesn't sound like the claps in Lip Gloss, then I like it XD

I might like an English artist for a while but then I lose interest, so really, English music comes in and comes out like a fad for me.

| I don't think a language barrier should be there. English, Japanese, Korean, Italian... It all mixes together for me. I think, in a few regions though, certain sounds stay. There a... a certain darkness, I think Hikki calls it, in Japanese music that has stayed there since ancient times and a sort of brightness that has been with America since the revolution. | |

| Okay, okay, alright, okay. I think I'm going crazy with obsession but click here and flip forward to 4:00. I love Immi and Utada's making a new CD and trying to make it in English speaking countries. Ehhh? Maybe? | |
