| Truthfullly I've enjoyed her older works more such as... Momo no Hanabira Kingyo Hanabi Daisuki da yo I feel there's a certain magic missing from her later work but I hope she finds it again | |

| ^ All three of those songs are her best works. Especially planetarium, I simply loved that song. Now a days I can't seem to get into her, I don't know what happened. | |

Planetarium Kingyo Hanabi Daisuki da yo I definitely agree! XDD Those are also my favorite but I'd say Kingyo Hanabi goes before Planetarium. Then Daisuki da yo. o_o But I actually like Pocket too, I don't know... It just reminded me of a lot of things I guess. XDD

| "Pocket" was lovely and was actually a sign that there is still some magic there so I hope she returns to something like that. I tend to prefer her slower works to her happy summer songs so I just want something that demonstrates Ai's talent and gets her some great sales! | |

| Yea! I 100% agree. I love her sad ballads. They're just so wonderful. They're also so intense like Planetarium and Kingyo Hanabi. Pocket, to me, was like a come back from all of those, as Amai Wana said, "happy summer songs". XDD | |

| Yeah, the emotions in her ballads really do come across strongly. Her voice just works with them so well and then the lyrics...don't even get me started on the lyrics. "Daisuki da yo" really had everything I could look for - just something about that song gives off such a personal vibe that it hits you in the heart. Songs like "Kingyo Hanabi" just are beautiful and...like it's hard to describe but they're gorgeous.
I'm not saying her summer songs are bad but I would love for her to go for a little more variety with them to make them more enjoyable. And sometimes her voice...just doesn't work with the song. I dunno but the new single just didn't really do it for me so here's to hoping the next single really blows everyone away by going back to her older sound.

| yea i'll admit her ballads are kick @$$...my fave IS kingyo hanabi...then its her a bit more fast paced songs like chu-lip and sakuranbo~~~...but sora to kujira is kinda like in between id say...its quiet using the acoustic and yet a bit more fast paced to be considered like a ballad...reminds me of yui's life...another great song... | |

| I love Ai Otsuka <3 Haven't been disappointed in her music. Although many people prefer her older style, which I understand. I love her ballads <3 & off the new single sora to kujira is my favorite. I agree with kayoko about how it reminded me a little bit of YUI's style. (which isn't bad cuz I like YUI too <3 ) | |

| I love Ai Otsuka's ballads: Planetarium, Daisuki da yo, Kingyo Hanabi and Pocket, for example. But some of her more upbeat songs are sort of...love/hate for me. Some are really cute, but others are just downright annoying to my ears. I can somewhat understand people who say they think her voice is ultra high-pitched and annoying; but I admit it's grown on me and I consider her one of my favorite female J-Pop artists. | |
